Blended Voices of Praise

BVOP was established in 2008 under the leadership of Leslie Montgomery. The initial aim was to deepen our congregation’s appreciation of the gospel genre, and to include a broader range of musical styles in our worship services. We have now widened our focus: we are becoming more of a community based choir which welcomes those from other churches and backgrounds to join with us as we worship our Lord with song. It is our deepest hope that Christ’s vision of an all nations worshipping community will be realized on earth. We want to be used as a vehicle for reconciliation and as a means of bringing Shalom to the city of Muskegon. We rehearse on Tuesdays at 7 p.m., weekly from September to May, with a lighter schedule during the summer months.
